Originally designed for shipbuilding applications including submarine work, this helmet has since proven effective for other tight, confined space welding applications. Customized leather bib replacements (repl bib # S21100 ) on top and bottom allow the worker to fit in those small spaces while being protected against IR heat, smoke and spatter. Includes 2 In. x 4-1/4 In. spring loaded positive lock flip front ?C fits 2 In. x 4-1/4 In. filter plate or ADF ( sold separately). Includes a proprietary SUPER KOOL SILVER COATING which keeps the helmet 30% cooler than standard helmets, includes a quick release ratchet headgear with sweatband for added comfort.
