The DEWALT? 13-inch Two Speed Thickness Planer (DW735X) is a sturdy tool with a powerful 15 AMP motor capable of planing boards of widths up to 13 inches. The cutter head has three easily changeable knives for maximum efficiency and consistently accurate cuts. Cuts of up to 1/8-inch maximum depth can be made easily and safely with this DeWalt thickness planer which allows easy regulation of cut depth using the material removal gauge. It is also simple to return to the setting for the thickness used most regularly. This DeWalt 13-inch two speed thickness planer allows the user to choose the feed speed of either 96 or 179 CPI (cuts per inch), for perfect planing of different board types. Board movement, within the 13-inch thickness planer, which may cause snipe, is minimized by the automatic carriage lock. Wood chips are efficiently vacuum extracted from the cutter head, out of the thickness planer and away from the operator. This combo also includes a sturdy steel constructed mobile stand (DW7350) which stands up under heavy loads. Its convenient foot pedal helps quickly and easily lift unit and stand for changing locations or roll-away storage.
