Its 5hp motor drives the spindle at a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm to power through tough material. You can set it to a slower speed to give you greater control for more delicate projects. This Powermatic PM2700 shaper has a digital readout that tells you the current spindle height allowing you to make repeat cuts on multiple pieces. Built-in casters allow for fast transportation around the workshop so you can change it up whenever you need. The Powermatic shaper??s belt tensioner??s quick lock makes it simple to adjust. Its tabletop is ground evenly for smoother feeding.
