A new planetary gear system helps ensure longer gear life as well. A 6:1 retraction ratio means the chalk line returns to the reel housing quickly when you finish using it. The braided line provides sharper detail and improved strength. When Milwaukee jobsite chalk reels are in storage or not in use, the flush-folding handles prevent reel handle movement.
